Updates (Week of October 6)

Hello fellow members,

Yes, its another week with updates, extra's added to the site. This time, we have more updates. So read please.

Our first update for this week is a new rule to the Moderator application system, this rule must be read for everyone. The rule is:

If you got accepted to be a moderator, you cannot apply until the 30 day mark has past. Meaning, you need to wait 30 days before applying. If you got rejected, more days could be added and if you don't follow this new rule (if your a moderator, portal staff etc.) you could lose your job.

Our second update, Global and Section moderator positions cannot be obtained. Since this site isn't active enough, the global and section jobs will have to wait for a while.

Note: Updates for this week can still be added.

wait lemme get this straight. if i was to get a mod position id then have to wait 30 days before applying for another one?

and is section mod the one that mods a whole forum eg lounges?

1)Exactly.

2) Section moderators are people who take care of certain section forum. Like if you were the PS3's section moderator, you would be moderator of all the PS3 forums.

You havn't said anything about Super Moderators though... can we still apply for the job?

No but their should be atleast 2 Super Mods for the site though... and i was a super for Marci's old Nintendo.editboard one!

Hello fellow members, the other updates have been confirmed and done.

The third update, the Sonic & Secret Rings forum has been added to the Nintendo Wii section, adventure games.

Our fourth update and the one that will shock you all. All possible moderator applications have been closed. So nobody can apply to be moderator, portal staff, super, section or global moderators. Since we only have two regular members that visit here regularly.

Our fifth update, we found our little mistake. We closed name changing for you users. If you want a name change, ask us admins and we will do it for you.

Thanks for your time, we could have had a sixth update. Which was to add a guestbook option, but we couldn't find it.

If you could it would be nice if you could do profiles like neos.

How did Neo do all the work for their forum?

Because Neoseeker is its own site, they did not make it on a another site (such as eurogoo, freewebs etc.) Its there own system, they pay the bills for the system. We don't.

Anyway, I don't think what you said its possible. Unless eurogoo adds that feature.

Also a sixth update has been made, The Writer's Lounge forum has been added in the Lounges. You will be able to write your own stories.

back the truck up. does this mean i lose my job as portal staff? will the mod applications ever open? are you drunk on power? am i one of the 2?

No you don't lose your job. You lose your job when Conker or i think you can't handle it or don't do your work good as expected.


The mod applications will open, but not now. As conker said we have only 2 members who post here, and the rest of them are members in function.

Here is a good thought.
You could make the Wii Shop Channel as a subforum to Genearl Wii.

1) No, I'm not. Me and Marci have a discussion before making these updates. We see what the site needs, we will add/remove a certain feature.

2) No, your a portal staff. The 2 regular members were Princess Midna and Chaotic (aka Wiitard) but since Quill9 has became a regular member, Zorvi2 joined and Dominion came back. The application system might open this week. Althrought, its not confirmed.

Quill neoseeker doesn't actually do the profile and screenshot work... members and contribute stuff! Go to a neoseeker page and then click at the top right contribute and you'll see a list of things you can contribute!

You also get Neopoints if you do that!
